Two kinds of device for two different routines. MARS 400 is an LED panel you use at a table for one 10-minute cycle; the Resty 275W and 550W infrared heat lamps give felt warmth to an area while you sit or rest.

MARS 400 and the Resty infrared heat lamps both glow red, which is where the confusion starts. They are built for different things. MARS 400 is an LED panel: you sit in front of it at a table for one timed cycle of red and near-infrared light. A heat lamp has an infrared bulb that you feel as warmth on the area it faces while you sit or rest.
Which one fits your routine?
- Do you want a short, timed light session at a table, aimed at one area such as the face or neck? Look at MARS 400.
- Do you want warmth on a shoulder, your back or a leg while you sit or rest? Look at the 275W infrared heat lamp.
- Do you want warmth on one wider area, or on two areas at once, with less repositioning? Look at the 550W infrared heat lamp.
- Where will it live? MARS 400 sits on a table. A heat lamp needs floor space beside your chair and rolls on wheels.
- Controls on the device, or a remote? MARS 400 has side buttons and no remote. The lamps have a control box with a display and a remote control.

Frequently asked questions
Is an infrared heat lamp the same as a red light panel?
No. A heat lamp has a short-wave infrared bulb that you feel as warmth on one area. MARS 400 uses LEDs at 660 nm and 850 nm, and heating is not its purpose.
Which one feels warm?
The heat lamps: they are built to give felt warmth on the area you aim them at. Heating is not what MARS 400 is for.
Which one uses more electricity?
MARS 400 lists 82 W nominal power; each lamp head has a 275 W bulb. As an illustration, 10 minutes at 82 W is about 0.014 kWh, and 15 minutes at 275 W is about 0.069 kWh. These are listed figures, not measurements.
Can a heat lamp do what MARS 400 does, or the other way round?
No. They do different things: MARS 400 gives light at two set wavelengths for one 10-minute cycle, a heat lamp gives felt warmth for as long as you set its timer.
Which warranty applies?
MARS 400 has a 3-year warranty from delivery. The Resty infrared heat lamps have a 1-year warranty from delivery. Both cover manufacturing and material defects in normal home use; the warranty and legal notice has the terms.
How does delivery work?
All three are sold as a pre-order with free delivery in Hong Kong. Pre-orders ship in mid-November.
Use and safety
- MARS 400: wear the supplied protective glasses for the whole session and never stare at the LEDs.
- Infrared heat lamps: do not touch the bulb, the lamp shade or the metal grid while the lamp is on, do not look into the light, and let the lamp cool before you move it.
- With either device, stay awake during the session and stop if it feels uncomfortable.
- Read the manual of your device first. Each product page lists its full precautions under Use and safety.
